The 36-hole cut was delayed by weather problems at the OHL Mayakoba Classic, but Menomonee Falls Mark Wilson and Mequon's Jordan Niebrugge will almost certainly miss the mark.
Wilson shot 69 to move up 21 spots into a tie for 94th at 1-over 143. Niebrugge, who won the Monday qualifier to get into the field, shot even-par 71 to move up five spots into a tie for 121st.
National PGA Assistants Championship
Andy Hansen, an assistant professional at University Club of Milwaukee (formerly Tripoli CC), bogeyed his last hole to shoot 73, but he missed the 36-hole cut by one shot at the National PGA Assistants Championship at Port St. Lucie, Florida.
His 36-hole total of 5-over 149 was 14 strokes off the lead held by Derek Berg of Sahalee CC near Seattle, who shot 68-67 to lead by one stroke. Hansen's 73 moved him up 15 spots on the leaderboard, but left him shy of the 148 cut.
Andrew Troyanek, an assistant professional at Rivermoor CC in Waterford, shot 74 and moved up 12 spots to finish in a tie for 93rd at 151.
