The pipeline of women's golf talent from Germany to Milwaukee is continuing at Cardinal Stritch.

Wolves coach Neil Grusczynski announced Sunday on his Facebook page that Lara Baeumken from Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, has orally committed to play at Cardinal Stritch this fall.

"I would like to play college golf because golf is my passion and, for a long time, college golf has been a goal of mine," Baeumken said in a YouTube video last fall. "I worked hard to improve my game and now I want to take the next step to become a really good player."

Baeumken, who has played golf for 10 years and as of last fall carried a 5.8 handicap, is the second German golfer to commit to the program this month. Antonia Bremeyer of Timmerndorfer Strand made her oral commitment to the Wolves, an NAIA program, on Jan. 3.

According to Grusczynski's post, Baeumken won the women's state under-18 championship in 2013. She plays for the Ladies team of Golf Club Altenhof and competes since 2014 in the two highest German team leagues. Her career-low score is 77.
