AXTELL, Nebraska — It was a career day Sunday for Grace Onsrud and the Upper Iowa women's golf team at the Nebraska-Kearney Invite.
The junior from La Crosse Logan matched her career low with a 2-over-par 74 and the Peacocks shot a school-record 298 to finish sixth in the 16-team tournament on the Links Course at Awarii Dunes.

Onsrud, whose only other sub-78 round in her career also came at the 2014 Central Region Fall Preview, had two birdies, two bogeys and a double-bogey in her closing 74. It left her tied for ninth at 8-over-par 152.
Upper Iowa also counted a 72 from Ravae Canas, a 75 from Christy Nelson and a 77 from Megan Joerger. The Peacocks threw out a 79 from Onalaska native Monica Rohe.
