The LPGA is adjusting Sunday’s schedule for the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic to account for inclement weather that is expected in the area during the afternoon.

Kirk put herself in that position ahead of the nasty weather, shooting 7-under-par 29 on the back nine en route to a second-round 63 that left her with a three-stroke lead over American Jaye Marie Green and Germany's Sandra Gal.
They are looking forward to joining Ferrell's sister, Brooke, for the Symetra Tour stop in Wisconsin at the PHC Classic at Brown Deer Park GC in Milwaukee in early August.
Ferrell, of Edgerton, plays her final 14 holes in 5-under-par to shoot 69 and move into the top 40; Danielson, of Osceola, plays her final 15 holes in 1-under to shoot 74 in her LPGA Tour debut.

ONEIDA -- Casey Danielson's LPGA Tour debut will come at 2:09 p.m. Thursday.
The 19-year-old, four-time LPGA Tour winner has collected all of her victories between mid-June and mid-August the last two years since turning professional and comes into this week's inaugural Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic eager to keep that trend going strong.
GREEN BAY -- Wisconsin golfers went 0-for-5 in open qualifying Monday at Green Bay CC for the inaugural Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic.
The recent Stanford graduate will tee it up at the inaugural Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic this week near Green Bay and then compete in her first U.S. Women's Open next week at Trump National GC in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Open qualifying for the first-year event is Monday at Green Bay CC with five Wisconsin golfers among 26 golfers battling for the final two berths in the inaugural Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic.

Ariya Jutanugarn, who is No. 2 in the Rolex Rankings, will headline the event, but only two other golfers in the top 10 of the Rolex Official Women's World Golf Rankings are making the Green Bay area a stop on the way to the U.S. Women's Open.
She and Ladies European Tour player Carly Booth receive the last of three sponsor's exemptions for the $2 million inaugural event. They join Selanee Henderson, a Walla Walla Native American and a Symetra Tour golfer.Â
ONEIDA -- Careers on the LPGA Tour are more than a few fairways down the road for University of Wisconsin golfers Becky Klongland and Jessica Reinecke.
At the back end of a historic month that begins with the U.S. Open and continues with the American Family Insurance Championship, the first regular LPGA Tour event to be played in Wisconsin has high hopes for a successful run.
The exemption is the first of three the Oneida Nation, the sponsor of the first-year LPGA Tour event, has to award to golfers not already exempt for the event.

Tournament officials from the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic have announced parking and traffic flow plans for the inaugural LPGA tournament, which is July 3 through 9.
The Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic is sandwiched between the KPMG Women's PGA Championship and the U.S. Women's Open, but organizers are confident the first-year event's $2 million purse will attract a top-notch field.
With the LPGA Tour coming to the Green Bay area-course in 2017, subtle improvements are underway to enhance Thornberry's stature on the state golf landscape.
The Oneida LPGA Classic will make its debut during July of 2017 at Thornberry Creek Golf Course in Oneida. The $2 million tournament has a three-year deal with the LPGA.
